You are a better team than the scoreboard reflected! I am proud of each and every one of you. You stuck together as a team. We win as a team, we lose as a team, but we never quit. Build on the things you did right during our game Saturday and throughout the football season thus far. Do not dwell on what we did wrong. This Cowboys team has talent and heart.
You are a great collection of football players that I am honored to coach. And, I know Coach LD, Coach Tony, Coach Troy, Coach Ponch and Coach Steve feel the same way.
I want to continue the string of great productive practices that we had last week. Please, do your schoolwork, be safe, have fun and come ready to improve yourself as young men on the football field Tuesday.

Please note: If you have questions, concerns or problems - please feel free to approach me before or after practice. I want our team to be unified on the field and in the stands. You would be surprised how the vibes in stands filter onto the field. We all volunteer our time for our Cowboys. I want our Cowboys to have positive memories of this season.

CARWASH COWBOYS
Thank you!!!
Thank you to everyone that helped by donating their time and sweat on Sunday!!! And, thank you to those who could not make the carwash but still donated items that were needed for this SUCCESSFUL EVENT!!! And, another thank you goes to all the people who brought their dirty vehicles to our carwash. We had several people who just donated money to our team without having their car washed.
A special thank you goes to Brett, Manager of Firestone, and to Firestone for allowing the Cowboys to use their facilities for our carwash!!! It was greatly appreciated!!!
The Carwash was a great SUCCESS!!! We almost had the full roster present and our Cowboys definitely enjoyed themselves Sunday. Thank you to all the Cowboys that washed my car. Now Coach Ron has a clean vehicle to drive to practice on Tuesday. :-)

Announcements!
Saturday: Game 11:00a.m. vs. Eastlake @ HOME.
Please arrive at the field at 9:30a.m. for warm-up/practice before the game! As always, don't forget your mouthpiece (NO clear or white), cleats, compression shorts/support, jersey, pants, and claws trimmed!
Thank you to the parents who have already volunteered to work the game! Your willingness to help really makes a difference ... and it is great for the boys to see your dedication to the team!
THANK YOU COACHES FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK TRAINING OUR BOYS! YOU ARE APPRECIATED!
Sunday: CAR WASH! Firestone, 8 - Noon, Corner of Mission Gorge and Cuyamaca!
CAR WASH! We need all the bodies we can get! Parents if you are unable to help, please consider bringing your son (older siblings invited, too) by so he can help his team...even if only for an hour! We would also like to offer bake sale items, donuts, and soda. We will have Starbucks coffee! We still need wash supplies: towels, soap, sponges, hoses, etc.! PLEASE let us know if you can help in any way! Thank you to those families that have already made commitments to help! See you there ... be sure to wear your team colors!

Don't forget to bring in a your recyclables - aluminum cans, plastic bottles, cell phones, and ink-jet cartridges! Earn a lollipop for each bag you bring, plus on October 7 we will have ice-cream for the boys to celebrate 100% participation!
